We had the good fortune of choosing Little Learners for our three children's daycare needs from an early age (our eldest from the age of eight weeks old) and we are ever-thankful for that decision.
We have watched as each of our children have developed into confident, imaginative, respectful, empathetic and social little people and this is in no small part due to the nurturing care, attention and encouragement they experience daily at Little Learners. Our children are not just a number - they are individuals, with various personalities, interests and needs, and are cared for in a manner that recognizes this. They are encouraged to develop upon their individual interests, and seek out and accept new experiences and challenges, all of which serve to build confidence in themselves and their abilities, and create a general wonder about the world and what it holds in store for them.
Our eldest son graduated from Little Learners Preschool in 2014 and commenced kindergarten at a local private school this year, walking into his new class with boundless confidence and enthusiasm. We have watched with awe and admiration as throughout the year he has eagerly grabbed hold of new opportunities and continued to persevere with challenges, expanding on the skills and experiences he was encouraged to gain during his time at Little Learners.
The staff are wonderful, to the point where I hesitate to use the term "staff". To our children they are more akin to family. Indeed, when we collect our younger children from Little Learners, our eldest son still races in to share his latest exciting school news or sporting triumph with his, now former, daycare workers. Despite him having moved on to "big school", they never hesitate to give him their full attention, mirroring his excitement and enthusiasm, just as they do for the children still in their care. This, in itself, says a great deal about Little Learners. The children may eventually move on, but they always remain part of the Little Learners "family".
As parents, we always feel encouraged and supported at Little Learners, whether it be in seeking parenting advice, addressing an issue at daycare that may have arisen, or being physically involved in our children's experiences during their daily-life at Little Learners. I highly recommend Little Learners Long Daycare and Preschool to any parent who is seeking a safe, nurturing, friendly and family-focused environment for their little ones to grow, play and learn.
